During the third Plenary session on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the Phenomenal Women's Summit in Birmingham, Alabama, Sheyann Webb-Christburg, Civil Rights Activist gave a keynote address.
Webb-Christburg is a native of Selma, Alabama, one of eight children. A known humanitarian activist, mentor and advocate, she is the author of Selma, Lord, Selma: Girlhood Memories of the Civil Rights Days, depicting her childhood experiences growing up during the Civil Rights movement.
